Henry DeLozier Named to Audubon International Board of Directors

TROY, NY – Environmental nonprofit Audubon International is excited to announce that international golf business specialist Henry B. DeLozier has joined its board of directors.

DeLozier is recognized around the world for his leadership in strategic planning for golf-related businesses, and he was called one of the “Most Influential People in Golf” since 1999 by the Crittenden publications. He joined Global Golf Advisors in 2008 as a principal after nine years as the vice president of Golf of Pulte Homes, where he helped the company become the largest developer of golf communities and golf courses in the United States.

“We couldn’t be happier about Henry DeLozier’s appointment to our Board of Directors,” said Doug Bechtel, executive director of Audubon International. “Henry’s expertise in golf and community development, finance, and marketing will help Audubon International expand our reach and relevance with new partners and stakeholders.”

DeLozier serves on the Employers Advisory Council for the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA). He is also a Past President of the Board of Directors for the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) in America. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University where he was an All-American Golfer.

“The work of Audubon International is vital to the continued engagement of golf and golfers in support of environmental programs, concerns and initiatives,” said DeLozier. “I welcome the opportunity to do my part.”
